Lonely Painter Pinot Gris- An elegant, crisp white wine, displays a beautiful rose gold meniscus in the glass. The nose is fresh and enticing, gently pushing aromas of lemongrass, yellow peach, pineapple, and a hint of peanut husks. Born out of its lively, natural acidity and balanced minerality, this wine expresses stone fruit, kiwi, and lemon curd. A palpable salinity derived from its caliche-driven terroir carries through from the start to the very end of the lengthy finish.
Crowded Table Wine- This Bordeaux-style bespoke blend showcases a rich garnet hue and demonstrates clear essences of blackberry compote, inky bramble fruit, kirsch and smoked cedar wafting out of the glass. Secondary aromas showcase baking spice and leather. Abundant harmonies of rhubarb, black licorice, and red peppercorn intermingle with chalky tannins that impart a pleasant structural component. The finish is long-lasting with a toasted pecan note. An incredibly pleasurable every day drinking wine, this medium bodied Bordeaux-style blend is best shared around a crowded table with a family style farmhouse meal.
This Walla Walla winery was founded by Grammy Award Winning Artist, Brandi Carlile and her wife, Catherine, along with their close friends, Amy & Jeri Andrews. Having worked together for many years raising funds for the Looking Out Foundation, they decided to start making beautiful wines together to further support their campaigns for equality, social justice, and resources for those most in need.
